Important Practice Update

 

After much reflection, I have made the decision to leave my office location at 506 S. 5th Avenue in Denton.

Over the past several months, a series of unforeseen facility challenges made it increasingly difficult to provide the stable, welcoming environment that my patients deserve. Following careful consideration, I concluded that the best path forward is to transition out of this location and begin building the next chapter of Empowered Women’s Health & Wellness.

While this transition was not part of my original plan, I am choosing to see it as an opportunity to reimagine how I can best serve women in our community. As I work through this process and evaluate future opportunities for the practice, I will be temporarily limiting appointments while restructuring operations and planning for what comes next.

​

During this time, telehealth appointments will continue to be available for established patients requiring follow-up visits, hormone management, medication management, and other appropriate services. However, new patient appointments, routine annual visits, and appointments requiring physical examinations will be temporarily paused while I navigate this transition and establish a new long-term solution.

If you are interested in becoming a new patient, or if you are an established patient awaiting an annual exam or other in-person service, I encourage you to join our waitlist. The waitlist will allow me to keep you informed and ensure you are among the first to be contacted when scheduling resumes. Please contact the office if you would like to be added.

I also want to take a moment to thank the many patients who have reached out over the past several months with words of encouragement, understanding, and support. Building Empowered Women’s Health & Wellness has always been about creating a space where women feel heard, respected, and cared for. During this challenging season, many of you have extended that same kindness back to me. Your messages, patience, encouragement, and offers of support have meant more than I can adequately express, and I am deeply grateful.

Please know that Empowered Women’s Health & Wellness is not closing. My commitment to providing evidence-based, compassionate care for women remains unchanged. This is a transition, not an ending. I remain dedicated to improving access to women’s healthcare in our community and am excited about the opportunity to create something even stronger in the future.

As a reminder, I will be unavailable from July 4 through July 20. During this time, responses may be delayed. For urgent concerns, please contact your primary care provider, urgent care, or emergency services.

I will continue to share updates as plans develop. Thank you for your trust, support, and patience as I navigate this next chapter. I look forward to continuing to be part of your health journey for years to come.
